When most people buy Rapid Recall Boards, they find it bit of a journey of discovery and find multiple ways to get the most out of them. Over the years our customers have been kind enough to share these ways with us and we wanted to share them with you.

The Rapid Recall Boards are an A3 double sided whiteboard with a carefully crafted collection of activities which help students build fluency and recall of the key number objectives from the 2013 curriculum.

You choose a number from the range given, write it in the shape, then use that number wherever you see the shape around the board, just like ‘X’ in algebra.

This sounds simple but there are a number of key things you can do as a teacher to transform the boards from a whiteboard to a serious discussion piece, and a really useful assessment tool.

Curriculum Objective Maps

Every section of each board has been mapped to the objectives in the 2013 National Curriculum which it covers.

We recommend printing the maps for each board off and having them handy for planning lessons.

Much of the next few pages has been pulled into 2 Powerpoint Presentations which may be useful to use for staff training. They are fully editable and contain notes and videos.
